A fantastic market with local produce, gift ideas, and handmade goods. Really wide range on offer. There's a really nice little cafe and seated area up the top. Great for having a break during all the perusing!
Surprisingly close to Mount Barker this nursery is definately worth a look. A huge range of plants, especially good or the Adelaide Hills climate. Lovely gifts available too.
Good quality food and extensive range of salads. Thy also have nice soups and combination meal offers. Service is pretty good but not great.
Approximate cost: $8
A real surprise at how extensive this museum is. The kids really loved it and so did the big kids! It was cold and rainy weather and the Whale Centre was a perfect refuge and made it a great day out.
Better than the average pizza, they have a really good gourmet selection. One of our visitors required a gluten free base and she said it was the best she had tried.
Really nice pub feel, great quality meals and friendly service. Nice open fire added to the atmosphere and there was a great outdoor dining area which would be great in warmer weather.
Approximate cost: $18
Nice little cafe in beautiful surroundings. Family friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome. Good menu selection and meals were nicely presented.

This was a good cafe with a pretty standard menu but nothing special. The service was ok but more attention could have been given especially as it wasn't that busy.
Good family restaurant with fun booth seating. Good menu range though the quality could improve. The kids ordered pizzas which were dissappointingly sparse of toppings (only ham and pineapple too!).
Approximate cost: $16
Well stocked pharmacy with good staff. I had to wait quite a while to be served even though it wasn't obviously busy.
