This is a place for all country music fans. The annual country music festival was just on in June. In the hall of fame you can see handprints of country stars including Slim Dusty. The hall of fame was originally at Monash and opened by Slim Dusty in 1983 and then moved to where it is in 1995. Come to see the big guitar. $1 & $2 to get in

This place is still the best dance school in the riverland. The kids are made to feel special no matter what type of dance they choose to do

Who doesnt love to go op shopping. We had to get some t shirts and pants for the kids after they played in the mud. We came out of there with a bag full of clothes and some items for the holiday home. The volunteers are friendly

For a small super market convenience store, they have a lot of stock. Fresh bread to choose. They had lots of meat varieties to choose from. While I was going up and down the isles I noticed there is not a much choice as normal huge supermarkets

We needed an emergency hair cuts. Son in law was looking after the kids but fell asleep on the longe. While he was asleep the kids found scissors and cut their hair, but lol they cut their dads hair too while he was sleeping. One call and they were able to fit us in. Thank goodness. We go in here every time the Barera main street markets are on. As you enter you will see lots of handmade crafts and paintings. I bought 2 hand painted post cards and an item I have not seen in years. A doll that stands in the toilet paper wearing a knitted dress. When you go into the next section you will see some lovely paintings and the old original stair case. Very clean toilets if you need them.

Almonds, Almond, Almonds, what a lovely place to shop. You can get almond supplies for cooking, from blanched, slivers, almond meal or flakes. Then the flavoured almonds. You can choose sweet or savory almonds in small or large even bulk quantity. They have choc covered almonds too. Dont go in there if you are hungry.

We stopped in for a coffee & cake. It wasnt busy, and it took a while to get our coffee. The tables were dirty and the seats. The cake I got wasnt very fresh. We have been here before and it was pretty much the same back then as it was today

It is sort of like cheap as chips. You can get camping equipment here, sleeping bags, fishing gear, chairs. I bought 2 towels and something for the kids for christmas to be put away. The have some jewellery and crystals in the glass cabinet as you walk in. You can pick up limited parts for cars, plastic containers and craft gear and beads. Colouring in books. So if youre on holidays and need something, come here and you'll probably find it

We had to take the car into the mechanics in Waikerie and with in walking distance is Viewpoint Cafe. We decided we would have a coffee maybe a cake. As soon as we walked we knew we would enjoy the bakery lines as they stock goodies from the country bakehouse in Loxton. You can sit inside our out the back and look at the beautiful murray river, and they have a playground for the kids
