We had brunch at Watershed Hotel on a weekend. Lovely view overlooking the Darling Harbour. You get to choose to sit inside or outside which is good. The menu has an extensive range of items to choose from. My husband and I ordered a Wagyu Beef Burger and a Roast chicken pizza to share. The serving size is quite generous and the food is delicious. Wait staff is friendly, filling up our glasses with water without asking. We had a buy-1-get-1-free voucher to use, so it was a great deal!

I had lunch on weekday at My Chef's Gallery within Metcentre as I walked past it. It is newly opened for only a few weeks. The staff wear uniforms which looks professional. I ordered Lunch Combo which costs $15 in which I chose the Dan Dan pork ribs noodles, steamed dim sim set and a soya milk. I was very full and the noodles delicious. Fully packed place during peak hour lunch. The places tends to get abit smokey though, but still bearable. The food came very quickly after I placed my order so I didn't need to wait long. Good place for quick lunch.

This review is for Felix, Sydney NSW

A few friends and I went to Felix Bistro for dinner on a Thursday night. Lucky we have made a booking as the place was fully packed. Very nice place and atmostphere with attentive wait staff. We ordered a rib eye, duck confuit, salmon fillet for mains and mussels to share as entree. The food was delicious. However, we find that the menu didn't have many choices though and since the menuitems is in French, we don't quite understand what are the dishes. The restaurant tends to get quite noisy and we found it hard to talk. As the kitchen is an open one, the smokey smell gets into our clothes and hair. But we will be back again.

This review is for Sambal Malaysian Restaurant, North Ryde NSW

verified email - 03 May 2013

We had dinner at Sambal on a weekday night as it is close to our home. Convenient location with lots of parking. My husband ordered the Kapitan chicken curry and I ordered the Hainan Chicken rice. We also ordered some curry puffs as entrée while we were waiting. The dishes were quite delicious with lots of flavours. The portion size was quite big and we were quite full. Customer service was quite good and we didn't need to wait for long before the food arrived. The prices on the menu for most items are relatively expensive, but we will go there again since the dishes are tasty.

This review is for Tom Yum Thai Restaurant, Epping NSW

We ordered some take-away from Tom Yum Thai based on a friend's recommendation on the weekend night. Very staff who picked up the phone. We aren't sure what to order so she made a few suggestions of the popular dishes. We ended up ordering some fish cakes, chicken wings, green curry prawns and pad thai. They are all very delicious! The portion size is reasonable. Prices on the menu weren't too expensive as well. Didn't take long for them to complete the order and deliver. And since we have ordered over $30, we got the home delivery for free! Will sure be ordering from them again in the future.

This review is for Taste Of Shanghai, Ashfield NSW

verified email - 10 Apr 2013

Went to Taste of Shanghai for a quick dinner as we didn't want to book on a weekday night. The place is always fully packed but we didn't need to wait for long to get a table. The "little pork dumplings" with vinegar never fails, always juicy and steaming hot when it arrives the table. The "drunken chicken" is delicious too, abit small in serving size so we ordered another one. The Shanghainese thick noodles is abit oily but still quite nice. Customer service is average and the place is reasonably clean. Very reasonable price for most items on the menu.

This review is for Bona Fide Cafe Restaurant, Sydney NSW

Went to Bona Fide Cafe for breakfast meeting this morning. Had a Big Breakfast with a soy mocha. The breakfast size is quite huge with everything doubled up in it. I could have shared it with someone. It was very delicious and filling. The mocha was nice. Staff was very friendly and we didn't wait for long after placing our orders. Lovely place and I will be back again.

This review is for Red Chilli Sichuan Restaurant, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 07 Apr 2013

Went there for lunch with a few friends. Nice restaurant with lots of space. Convenient location as the Chatswood Chase car park is opposite to it. My friends and I ordered a few dishes to share but I found all the dishes were too hot and spicy for me. I had to order a bowl of hot water to quickly rinse it abit. My friends liked the dishes though as they like the hotness and spiciness. The items on the menu are quite expensive for Asian cuisine. Customer service is average.

This review is for Dining Bar Musashi, Sydney NSW

verified email - 06 Apr 2013

We had dinner at Musashi on a weekday night. Waited for around 30 minutes outside with a ticket as the place is fully packed during peak hours. We got the choice of sitting indoor or outdoor which was good as the indoor could be quite stuffy. The deluxe sashimi boat was great, very fresh and well-presented. The salty chicken wings and wagyu beef steak were very delicious. Love the takoyaki as they seemed to be relatively bigger. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The prices are slightly expensive but it's worth it as the food and service are great. I saw the lunch menu, quite good value for money in which I will definitely try next time.

This review is for Galileo, Sydney NSW

Went to Galileo to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a weekday night. Beautiful fine dining restaurant with a library and Victorian atmostphere. We were first asked to take a seat at the bar area waiting for the tables to be cleared. We ordered fresh oysters and each of them has a different flavour as entree, my husband ordered the steak for main and I ordered the pork loin. The dishes were delicious. The staff was very polite and courteous, coming around a few times making sure everything is ok. We had the tiramisu and mascarpone ice cream which I couldn't finish. The prices are a bit expensive though, but I don't mind going to fine dining for the service and experience once in awhile on special occasion.
