Prior to getting my single and queen size doonas cleaned, I did a bit of a ring around for prices and Brown Gouge in Forest HIll were by far and away the cheapest. For the two doonas it was $32.50. Admittedly that was with a discount from the Entertainment Book, but BG was significantly cheaper even PRIOR to using the discount coupon. Although a little out of my way, I will be going back again!

The best hot chocolate in town! And the food? Bloody brilliant. A great range of dishes and the breakfasts are delish!! THe corn fritters can't be missed and the Veggie Delight is a great dish: not too filling, but lots of flavour. The lunch and dinner menus are also fantastic. However, dinner is only on Fridays and Saturdays. A shame as the tapas is really good. On the down side, service although friendly, can sometimes be pretty slow. But a great local hangout!!

Moving house on a 40 degree was a challenge for me....let alone the guys from Panda Man & Truck!! They arrived on time, were friendly, courteous, helpful and did a great job on such a HOT day up two flights of stairs. I was initially concerned as only one Panda Man arrived, but after a phone call, he was able to get assistance. Moving the contents of a two bedroom unit was done effectively, although I'm not sure why they didn't utilise a trolley more up the stairs to my new apartment. It took a little longer than I thought, but factoring in the stairs and trying to get a long couch into the apartment ate up some time. I would definitely recommend these guys. I received a 10% WOMO discount and a reduced rate for the first hour as there was only one Panda Man.

WOW! A fantastic African restaurant that serves beautiful, tasty food. The vegetarian platter is my favourite. The best thing about African food? No cutlery, you rip off the 'pancake' and use it to scoop up the different curries. The lentil curry is my favourite....or is it the cabbage one....or the chickpea??? A great find!

A nice Malaysian cafe located in Wantirna South, close to Know Shopping Centre. I tried the Nasi Lemak and while it wasn't as good as those I have tried in Malaysia, it was quite good. Staff are very friendly and service is fairly fast.

Angeethi have a FANTASTIC value pack that you can have home delivered: vege pakora, murg tikka (entree), butter chicken and organ josh (main sized), 1 saffron rice and 1 nann + pappadams all for $24.50!! This is a lot of food for two people, although I would recommend ordering some more naan. Especially the garlic naan!! Quick delivery and fantastic taste!

Disappointed is the best way to sum up my feelings about this restaurant. I had been to Tien Dat (located on the same street) and had heard good things about Indochine. We ordered the banquet and the volume of food was great. However, after the entree(s) the meal was not so great. The entrees of spring rolls, fresh hand rolls and satay chicken were fantastic. Other than the vegetables with prawns and cashews, the following mains were disappointing. I'd give this one a miss and go down the road to Tien Dat.

Quite a bit cafe with an upstairs function area and a fairly good sized downstairs area. The coffee is not that great: quite bitter. The service was ok, but nothing to rave about. Overall, an average cafe.

A great wine shop in Seddon. A fantastic range of wines at all price levels. My favourite was a bottle called "B*tch* for $20. A good gag gift, but even better: the wine was fantastic! The staff are knowledgeable and are happy for you to try before you buy.

WOW! One of the cleanest take-away places I've ever been to. On one trip, the owners were scrubbing the floors and the walls to ensure they were sparkling. For a place that has been there for a few years, it looks brand new!! Fantastic chicken, salads and potato. A great place to get take-away!!
