I went a while ago with a friend, and really liked the atmosphere for the place, but thought the coffee was nothing special and my cookie tasted old.
I returned a few days ago as I had half an hour to kill. The lady who served me was disinterested, and served while flicking through a notebook. No smile, no thanks, and then charged me a dollar to use EFTPOS.
The place was less than half full, yet it took nearly twenty minutes to get my coffee! I took my cup up at the end and sat on the bench, and the same lady glanced up, but again no smile or thanks. I doubt I'll go back again.

Owned by the same people who own Villino. Good coffee, fairly speedy service, and professional staff, if not the most friendly. Great if you don't have time to stop for a coffee.

Great place! One example that sticks in my mind is the time I ordered one of their specialty blends. It was made in a siphon, and served with a dish of the whole beans on the side. I mostly enjoyed it for the presentation, and the service. I was told exactly what to expect tasting the coffee, and the guy was very polite, friendly and professional. Their espresso coffee is also good, and they offer second blends to try which alternate.

I quite like this place. They use really nice coffee beans, and the baristas seem to be passionate. I always get a heart or rosetta on my coffee, which is great, even if I am ordering a flat white and don't want froth... None of the staff are very friendly. They aren't unfriendly, just lack any real personality. The food is reasonably tasty, if a little expensive. I wouldn't really go out of my way to visit, but I like to drop by on occasion when I pass.

I adore this place. Such delicious, fresh juices (though they could be a little colder.)I have never tried their food, but there is a small range including soup in winter, and it all sounds so good.

This is probably my favourite place to go in Hobart! A delicious range of tea, beautiful coffee, and some amazing vegan/vegetarian snacks and meals. Organic options, and some of the friendliest service I have encountered. I don't get here very often, as I am only in Battery Point when I go out of my way to visit, but it is well worth the trip, and I recommend to all of my friends.

I had a vegetarian toasted Turkish roll, and it was great! heaps of fillings, fresh tasting and a large size. It was a little slow in toasting, and the girl who served me wasn't very friendly, but all in all it was a reasonable experience. The coffee here is passable. I have also tried a curried egg salad wrap, and it was delicious. Lot's of salad filling. A little messy to eat.

I absolutely love Indian food, and this place has generally been fantastic! Once or twice I have had to wait what seemed an unnecessarily long time, or have been served food which is very greasy, but it has never been bad enough that I don't go back. The vegetarian options are great, and there are enough to keep it interesting if you return often. The staff aren't overly friendly, but they are usually quite busy so all is forgiven.

I absolutely love coming here! So nice to enjoy a movie in comfortable seating, being served by professional, friendly staff, and even ordering a meal if you wish. Whilst the food isn't one of the greatest, it is perfect for a movie night, and does limited vegetarian offers. There is a button by your seat you are able to press, which sends a staff member to you almost instantly. Delicious cocktails. If you have the money, perfect for a date, and without the usual kids and bogans in the normal cinema.

I love coming here! It's always fun to browse the bookshop, find a book, and sit with a coffee and begin reading. It has a very relaxed but friendly atmosphere, and the coffee has always been great. I have yet to eat here, but have heard the food is really good, so it is on my to-do list. Looks a touch expensive, but not scarily so. They also stock a range of organic soft drinks.
