You can't miss this on the Bruce Highway, a quirky shaped pub on the side of the road. It has an interesting history (aboriginals called it the place of good drink), and it has a caricature appearance, and has Australian eclectic displays and cartoons inside. Blueys bar & grill is upstairs, a good menu which changes regularly. A nice day out for the family.

I visited Seaworld recently and was so mesmerised by the Penguin enclosure, featuring Gentoo penguins on their rocky formations and King Penguins in the pool. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Stingray exhibit and had the elated pleasure of patting them while feeding them (you can buy food for them there).... and not to forget mentioning the interactive dolphin show. You can get Get unlimited entry to Movie World, Sea World & Wet'n'Wild until 30 June 2013 with the new VIP Pass, which is $99.95, so that is great value if you are a local or regular visitor to the Gold Coast.

I went here recently and absolutely loved it. The 'journey to the centre of the Earth' show was fun, even had some water sprayed on us which is somewhere in the seat, at the right time in a water scene in the movie. Thoroughly enjoyed the street parade, and Batman ride, and my niece insisted on the Scooby Do roller coaster ride over & over again, with huge lollipop in hand. We had a ball.

You will find almost any theme in this store, I was drawn to the animals & birds, very intricate and beautiful. It is only a small shop, and the staff are so friendly and gave wonderful service. I will be adding many more items to my curio cabinet.

This store had some glamorous shoes, and I could not walk past the diamante range. They were having a huge sale so it was irresistable. Alot of Mollini shoes in there, so if you want to grab a bargain at the moment it is worth a trip to this store.

I walked into this store because of the unique creative designs of the shoes in the shop window, a funky individual style (love the sequin shoes). They also had handbags & accessories and my focus was a purchase of boots but the shoes won over. Not cheap shoes, but very unique.

I went to my usual supplier of Swarovski crystal and they no longer stocked it, so I went directly to this store today, and what a magnificent sight... absolutely beautiful, I was in awe of the pieces they stocked here. I purchased a piece at a 40% discount and am so delighted with my purchase. The sales assistant was so friendly and helpful. I will be back.

I used this studio for the first time on the weekend and the service was wonderful. The girl at the desk asked me about my experience with tanning salons and when I informed her I had not been for a while she recommended a low time period, and informed me that there were new tubes so should only be in for a short time. The salon is so clean, there are eye goggles in the room, a facewasher and deodorant. Great service.

Manolas Bros has a lovley continental delicatessen which has a range of produce from all over the world. They have desserts, pastries, home made ice-cream, preserves and even a juice bar. You can sit in (or outside) too and order cultural mezza meals from a menu. they aren't open for dinner though. They are also caterers

Three Beans is a cool trendy cafe, that focuses on preservative, additive free food and conscious of animal welfare (free range). They serve organic coffee and the menu clearly states which dishes are Organic, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Low Fat etc. I love the salds there.
