Wife loves this place, & I guess its not too bad. Food is always pretty good and its a good location to sit, eat & watch the day go by. Great for Sunday brunches.
Plenty of waiters that hover around. Food is contempary Italian style that offer plenty of pasta dishes, no pizzas though. Can recommend the home made baked beans with sausage & poached egg for brunch - or the home made muslie for that healthier option.
They do have an area set aside for smokers though - the smoke can waft through the partition but, the waiters are happy to move you to another table.
Going back this Saturday for our anniversary dinner.

Located in an area with a variety of country choices, this Chinese seafood restaurant is our preferred choice where they always make you feel welcome.
Lots of Chinese basics, including the chilli crab, muscles, pippies and don;t forget the duck, we have found Lee Central offers great meal at a great price. Again, we usually order too much & take home the leftovers for a meal the next day. I think the only problem is that they don't do yum cha.

Great authentic Thai food, with plenty of choices. If you want it that extra bit spicy, they will happily provide some fresh sliced burning hot little chillies.
They have the usual choices of curry sauces - just pick the meat or veg you want + they have the stir fried dishes including fresh whole fish.
It can look like the servings are a bit small however, I have never walked away still hungry, in fact, I usually take home a doggy bag with the leftovers. Breakfast of champions the next day.
Every time I'm in Melbourne I make the effort and visit. Highly recommended.

Great friendly service. Good range of Thai food - what you would expect & some other hidden gems. Happy to provide the bum burning experience if you like chili.
Comfortable dining area & great for that quick take away
They do deliver.
Approx $50 for 3 dishes which also allowed for lunch the next day.

The hotel itself is probably a nice place to stay - I had the disappointment of taking my wife to the 'High Tea'.
The 'High Tea' was in the cafeteria type area where you couldn't escape the blinding sunlight. You were either squinting into the sun or having your neck blistered.
Selection of only four types of tea (all tea bag).
The 'High Tea' food was disappointing also - dry scones with very liquidy homemade strawberry jam. The sandwiches tasted stale - they were not freshly made. They had been made much earlier & left uncovered resulting in dry, stale tasting bread.
Other cake & tart type tidbits were very sweet & very ordinary.
Staff service was very slow - they were more interested in adjucting the tables & chairs around everyone. Noise made was similar to a Cantonese Yum Cha restaurant.
Must be much better places around.
We won't be back & cannot recommend the 'High Tea'.

Lunch time mistake. Five work colleagues went for a Friday lunch.
Two went for the pizzas. Soggy bottoms - scant topping - disappointing. @15.00 each
One had the fisherman's platter - small bowl - 2 small pieces of battered fish, 2 crumbed prawns, 2 crumbed calamari rings & some chips &17.50.
One had the rock ling fillet with bok choy & rice - tasted okay - small serve $27.50
I made the mistake of having the chicken ceasar salad. How could you ruin that. By having soggy & brown marked lettuce, hardly any dressing and raw bacon. & 19.50.
Maybe okay for the yuppies but for real workers, this is not the place. We won;t be back.

Dropped in a white coat & a pair of blue trousers. Went to pickup today, trousers seem okay however, what once was a white coat was now discoloured & what was soft to touch material was now hard & scratchy.
Owner stated that the coat was dry cleaned separately with whites - thats what they always do - however, the discolouration and signs of other coloured threads on the coat indicated that this was not the truth.
P155ed off factor was the poor job and ruined coat and that the owner tried to take us as idiots saying that the white coat was dry cleaned only with other whites. She's giving it another go but we don't hold much hope. Definately not going there agisn.

Friday night. Little bit of parking behind the restaurant, plenty along Whitehorse Rd or Station St.Cosy atmosphere, comfortable setting, music in the background. Attentive wait staff are poised and helpful. Menu is traditional - not Cantonese but delicious. Still do the carving of the duck at the table plus, as I found out - they also carve the pork hock (which I'm having next time).
Prices are great, not expensive. Food delicious, what you can't eat you can take away. Licenced or BYO wine. Great night. I do recommend.

Always good. You might wait a couple of minutes for a table (always busy & full) but the wait is worth it. Dumplings are great, sizzling noodle plates are good, try the chicken wings and the ribs. Finger licking good. What you can't eat is put in a take away container + you can buy frozen pork dumplings if you want to give it a go at home.
