I rang Southern Cross on 7/9/08 to book a car for 5.00 am on Tues. 9/9/08. The drive was to the airport for an international flight. After details were taken, the male I spoke to assured that the car would be outside our home at the designated time. The car did not arrive and a call to Southern Cross resulted in the information that there was no record of the booking. No alternatives were proposed by the company. Good old "Silver Top" came to our rescue, and we managed to get our flight.
The Good:
Nothing that I can think of, and I tell others not to rely on them to catch a flight.
The Bad:
Their advertising is misleading and they cannot be relied on. No-one has since contacted me to give any explanation or even apologize for the anxiety and inconcenience.
