Salon Lavan, Elsternwick

Salon Lavan is amazing! Fantastic cut and colour. I have fine hair and in the wrong hands it can be a disaster - not so at Lavan. Lee gave me great advice for the cut and colour and I left flicking my luscious hair as if I was in a shampoo commercial. The colour is also perfect. My 3 kids had their hair cut too - 6, 10 & 13 years old. They loved Lee who spoke to them like they were grown ups about their hair and style requirements. She totally related to kids and gave them up to moment cuts which are still appropriate for kids. They also loved massage chair, playstation and lollypops. Salon is beautiful, fresh and spotless - flowers everywhere. Reasonable cost. A pleasure to be a client!

I have been to Lee 5 times now, after sticking with the same hairdresser for 7 years, I decided it was time for a change - best thing I ever did. Lee is possibly the best hairdresser around. She always manages to make you look good. My husband recently went to her and has vowed never to use anyone else.

I found Lee through WOW and I was most impressed. She is friendly and warm, and I have no complaints with her salon at all. I was very happy with my highlights and cut. I've been recommending her to all my friends.

I have been going to Lee now for 8-9 years and have followed her from a girl who hired a space in a shop to a women who owns and runs a fantastic successful business. I have always loved what she has done to my hair and have so many comments about how good it looks ( Even from other hairdressers) Next month I am going from long hair to short and I trust and know Lee will do the ideal hair cut and color for me.

Very friendly and welcoming, felt very relaxed, knew exactly what i wanted and the cut was perfect! I went from very long hair (waist length) to just on the shoulders and it was as if the style was meant for me! Lee was great with my kids too (3 1/2 and 17months old) and they kept themselves busy with the toys and huge chalkboard.

I have just moved back from London and have struggled to find a good hairdresser in Melbourne, despite spending loads of money at large salons with awful results. My hairdresser in London did great highlights and had a lot of celebrity clients, Lee is of the same standard if not better. She is an absolute gem and did a fantastic job of my highlights and cut that after my first visit with her I got comments like WOW, which I have never received before.

Went there the other week based on recommendations on Womow. Excellent service, didn't have to wait even though I was early. Very friendly. Good haircut, think the previous haircut was a bit dodgy so Lee did the best she could to fix it. Will go again.
