Rustic Charm Restaurant, Wandin North

I love that this place is 2 minutes from my house. It's a beautiful restaurant from all angles: menu, food, service, views, atmosphere. It's got all the right ticks. The only negative is the prices. They can be a little steep.

However, they use lots of local produce and offer a very Australian-gourmet cuisine. Although the decor adds to the overall aesthetics it isn't necessary as the views indulge the eyes to satisfaction. The vineyard is a beautiful sight as the sun starts to set and their new dam and water feature is an added bonus. They've just built a range of cottages for accommodation, and even though I could walk there, I'm still tempted to spend the night.

A fantastic lunch on a beautiful day, the service was so good you wouldn't even notice the 50 people in the function room except for the car park of cars.

We have been here for lunch on a number of occasions and the food and service has always been great.

We also had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time and everyone commented on how great both the food and service were.

We'll be eating here many more time in the future.

After attending a freind's wedding we were blown away by both the food and servcie & went back for a romantic dinner for 2! It is the perfect setting and also has onsite accommodation - which we may utilise next time!
