Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran

Went to Misty's Diner for my birthday. Was an awesome night, they made me & my party feel really special. The customer service is right up there, always making sure we were looked after & had what we needed. I even got the special birthday treatment, which included free desert & a birthday thick shake...YUMMO!! An truly fun night had by all & we were even a little loud & that didn't worry them either...after all, they are an American Diner & Americans are pretty loud themselves!!!

Misty's Diner has become a regular haunt of ours - we love it for the fantastic service that Misty brings with each dining experience and the DELICIOUS food. The servings are definitely generous but the all the food has so much flavor.

My favorites would definitely be the chili fries and chilii dog! We also have tried the curly fries - which are delicious. I am not a huge fan of the burgers as I find them a little bit dry sometimes. You definitely need to try the thickshakes as well! I have yet to find a place that makes thickshakes as well as they do at Misty's!

Prices are a little high but for the quality of service and the fantastic hospitality of Misty, it's worth it!



I also had my birthday party at Misty's this year and I have to say that I was VERY impressed by the level of service I got from Misty and her team in organising and catering for my Birthday on a busy Saturday night. Everyone had fun and commented on how delicious all the food was!

Misty even decked out the tables and decorated our reserved area in "American" colors - which looked fantastic! The staff were very professional and we were all impressed with how speedy the service was. A lot of my friends have mentioned to me that they will be definitely be back for more good food! =)

Great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Excellent quality food & value. It's great to taste the flavors of the 50s, especially my favorites, Cherry Coke, Dr Pepper & others. The sizes of the meals are great too, definitely for big appetites !

I went there with a group of Americans (Like me) and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Although I have to say I have never seen a hamburger in the US with an egg on it!

Misty's is amazing! it's like stepping into a time warp straight back to 1950's America. It's everything one would expect from a stereotypical diner. and in true USA style (or so i imagine) it's all about quantity. certainly don't eat anything during the day before you head in as you need all the room you can manage!

Misty's Diner isn't your average diner! I love how it's an American Diner, it was the first time I'd had American Food. There's a kids area to keep your children entertained. The service is great, Misty chatted to us! The decorations are bright and retro. Much, much better than I expected.

Favorite place to eat in VIC. Food and service is always great. Thickshakes, their is none better. Look forward to gettin' there next week from Sydney. Burger with the Chilli Fries thanks...mmm

The service was good and friendly.

The meal was something different from what we are used to.

The surroundings were as expected,bright and happy.

Being Mothers day we had a very enjoyable meal and would recommend our Friends to try when in Melbourne

Very friendly and accommodating!! Misty herself came up and chatted to us throughout our time there and made the experience very fun!! The staff really knew what they were talking about, and definitely had a feeling of a 1950's diner. Atmosphere was incredible!!
