Very surprised by the negative comments by Mathew below. I've been to Misty's several times. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Food is tasty and fresh (fried mushrooms from the carb platter are a must!) and it's a great atmosphere. Look foward to next visit :)

Portion Sizes are Ridiculously HUGE

Basically, i got a Pig Out platter.. the meat and onion rings, etc.. is just run of your mill appetizers that come out of your supermarket freezer - party food - deep fried. The service was shocking, i had to get up out of my seat to even request a menu and then place an order. Even after i requested some service it still took the waitress time to come over and acknowledge our presence. The American sodas we ordered were flat.

A pretty dismal dining experience. Probably the worst ive had... enough to make me come online and comment.

And to top it off, none of the food could manage to stay down in my stomach. It probably tasted nicer coming back up again.

Soft drinks, even in a can, still can lose their carbonation, perhaps if they get hot, dropped, or are left around for a period of time - ust generally not looked after (not unlike unlike the food and service)

Misty is a great hostess, bubbly and goes out of her way to make you feel right at home. The interior of the diner is fantastic, the memorabilia really gives it a 1950s feel and the booths make it a very authentic experience. The food is out of this world...I hadn't had mozzarella sticks in 3 and a half years, since I visited the States, and Misty's are PHENOMENAL...not to mention her mouth watering Salisbury steak and great selection of American sodas and candy. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the overall experience was one that was good enough to have me coming back for more.

wow! If your looking for a great place for a fun night out, well Misty's is what you are looking for. Owner Misty has a heart of gold and you definitely see this in the food she serves. Start with a brownie thick-shake, then move onto those amazing chili fries. And finish off with her indescribable naughty but nice desert. It just simply melts in your mouth.

We went to Misty's after seeing it mentioned on Food Safari. We were glad we went -I seriously had the BEST burger I have ever had. A day later I was still trying to work out what was in the sauce on their Jack Burger - it was stunning. Chilli Fries are also something everyone should try.

It was a terrific venue - just like a diner from a US movie. Great staff too - happy to offer advice.

I love the theme of this diner, very old school Americana. The range of import foods is also fantastic and the thickshakes are to die for. Not recommended for those on a diet and vegetarians be warned you'll pretty much be limited to chips because everything else is meat but the service is fantastic and it's a fun night out.

Hey Bec, this is Misty I have news for all the Vegeterians out there... I have over 13 items for you guys. I love going to Misty's Diner. The food is great, the staff are excellent. The meals can end up a little pricey (especially if you want shakes) but it's so delicious it's worth it!

The staff were great, and it helped that they were actually from America, and as for the food I have never had such a delicious burger and hot dog before. Not the healthy choice bu for a real authentic American experience, hard to beat!
