Gorgeous 50's Diner theme with Get Smart on the TV! Loved everything from the curly fries to the deep-fried twinkie!

I found Misty's diner on the internet while searching for US food, and this was the first that popped up. I thought it had a diner theme but had no idea just how well done it was, and how much effort has been put into it. The service was lovely and much faster than I thought it would be considering the amount we ordered. Choosing a main meal was difficult because of the range of food on the menu. Dessert was awesome, with a deep fried twinkie and a bowl of ice-cream that apparently had 9 differnet types of lollies. Delicious!

We left feeling absolutely stuffed and thoroughly satisified.

This is one of the best themed restaurants I've ever been too! Fantastic selection and great tasting food! Service is cheerful and prompt, even when the place is packed! Misty is a gorgeous and gracious host who personally attends to customers and is very personable and fun. Great for lovers of american snacks and food, a real treat!

I love coming to Misty's. She makes an effort to acknowledge return business and have a chat with her customers. She'll bring out sauces for you to try and let you know about new dishes available or coming soon. The food is always a heaping helping of delicious with lots of meals you just can't get anywhere else in Melbourne. I've heard people complain about the wait for their meal and think this is because they expect a fast food experience because of the fare on offer. If you want tasty American food made to order with care then go to Misty's Diner.

The food is great and so is the service. Tried the burger and I can tell you this was one hell of a burger. I highly recommend the burger to anyone. This place is really a place to revisit again.

Been there once and will go back again when in the area. Love the food and worth every bit. I am still drooling over the burger I had, even better you can have a beer with your meal. It is all american style meals.

Great experience. Food was good and Misty is great. With notice she said she will make any American dish that is not on her menu. has a play area for the kids. A fun time for any lover of Yankee Food.

My husband and I both love Misty's when we get homesick and are really craving some American classics. (Well, the egg on a burger isn't a classic) The service is unbeatable and everyone is super friendly even when the place is packed!! I absolutely love the jalapeno poppers and shakes!!

Food was great but disappointing in that it wasn't that similar to American food - and I grew up there for 11 years. Food tasted amazing but it wasn't like the diners etc I have while I'm in America.

I went there for lunch with another Yank, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and Misty's service, although the menu was so extensive it was hard to make a decision on what to order! It was a lot of fun, the burgers were like back home. Misty is very generous, even offered to make me something special that was not on the menu yet, I wish I had the time to take her up on that. I will on my next visit to Melbourne!

Had some great food and a good time here - good service, staff seemed to genuinely care if you were enjoying your food but didn't ask enough to become annoying. Very filling - I was sad I couldn't fit desert.
