It was a very friendly place, the outside was not inviting but once in it was a very typical American experience. The food was great, service was ok, Misty herself interacted with the guests which is fantastic. Reasonably priced. Desserts were great but the icecream was awful (tasted like icy fake soft serve). Overall wonderful

Food and service was great had to wait almost 50 mins for a salad and a hotdog when there wasn't anymore then 5 other people there. Must have been some problem in the kitchen, sure that if i went again it wouldn't happen again.

Living just off High Street in Prahran I cant believe me and my housemates only descovered Misty's by chance 2 months ago! Passing it every day on the tram now my mouth literally waters when I see the Pink neon sign! I must admit we have only been 3 times now but will be returning tonight for a Birthday as Misty's is the best Burger joint in Melbourne!! The Staff are friendly and Misty herslf always comes over to ask how the Burgers are - to which every time we all reply AMAZING! (with a mouth full of Burger!). The Diner itself is like stepping on to the set of Happy Days - there are enough tables and booths to accomodate but it is small enough to have the homely factor of a family run business - no danger of a commercial maze of cheesy 'fake' American hospitality (TGI friday etc sping to mind!) Misty's Diner is the real deal.....and a real treat we manage about once a month - any more and you will be needing to buy bigger trousers!!! Over all, great hospitality, amazing food and i would recommend 100% to Anyone - try it once youself and you will be hooked!!!

I went to Misty's for the very first time with my fiance and our friends last night and I was blown away! The food was excellent, especially the Junkyard Fries - I never knew that something so messy could taste so good!

The thickshakes were amazing - the Cherry Chocolate Crunch was by far the best, but my Reece's Pieces shake was a very close second. I really enjoyed my Chicago Dog (because I'm certain that you can't go to a hot dog place anywhere else to get pickle anymore), but I will have to try the French Dip next time.

The only downside was that there was so much to choose from, you couldn't help but wish that you were eating other people's dishes - I really wanted to order the Buffalo Wings but I was so stuffed I'm kind of glad we didn't! Oh, and that Deep-Fried Double-Stuffed Oreo dessert? Deadly.

The service was efficient and the staff were AMAZING - and the fact that I got to thank Misty in person was a bonus. You can just feel the love in this place - it's not a place just go to eat American food - it's a true American dining experience.

Thanks for a great night Misty's, I will be back!

If you've dreamed of sitting in a 50's theme diner surrounded by American number plates, jukeboxes, rock n roll music, a shake, some chilli fries and maybe some Hershey's for later, this is the place. Misty's offers all-American meals, drinks and desserts in a wonderfully nostalgic and fun atmosphere. But be warned, the hot chilli fries are extreme! You may even get to meet owner Misty Singer, who is nothing but sincere and friendly.

There's a play area inside for kids, it's minutes away from Prahran train station and in walking distance to Chapel Street.

The only downside is now, being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, little is available to gluten free consumers (even with the fries due to the chance of cross-contamination of the oil it's cooked in and the fact that it's not a gluten free kitchen), but if progress ever comes around for the growing amount of gluten free consumers, I'll be there!

The Death Sauce is magnificent. Bought the Ultra Death for a bbq, everyone loved it and have been back to get more for my friends. It's the hottest sensation I've ever had. Just can't get enough of it. You should use it in the restaurant.

Our first visit to Misty's and I was amazed that it was packed at 2:30 PM. We had a great time and the food was so American it made me homesick. Misty is a doll and she made the rounds to every table. We talked about American Mid West phrases such as You betcha and Oh Yeah. The atmosphere was fun, but the food was terrific. A bit too much bun on the cheeseburger, but all in all the cheese sticks with ranch dressing and the thick chocolate malt made me feel like a teenager again. I kept looking to see if I was wearing a poodle skirt and saddle shoes. What a great place and great food to stire memories of a more gentle time. Thanks Misty and staff for a great time.

My husband and I had lunch at Misty's today. We were absolutely thrilled with our meal! We've been looking for a great American dining experience for some time and having now found Misty's we no longer need to search. The food is indulgent, the portions are very generous, the atmosphere is fun and busy, service is personable and fast and the prices are extremely reasonable.

We enjoyed a feast of Chilly Cheese Fries, Blooming Onion with Blue cheese sauce, Philly Cheese Steak , a corn dog and biscuits and gravy prepared especially for us by Misty. All washed down with the hands down best thick shakes either of us have tasted!

There were so many delectable items on the menu that the most difficult part of dining at Misty's is deciding what to eat. It all looks so good! We'll be going back time and time again. Our only regret is not knowing about Misty's until now.

This was my First Visit to Misty's Tonight and I have to say it was amazing, Awesome Food, The Best Service and Great Value for Money, Had the Cheese Sticks which were great but didn't eat them all so I could fit in the rest and Then Ranch and Bacon Burger was really yummy (Friend had Taco Salad and it was very tasty) we also Shared Cinnamon and Chocolate Tortilla which was yummy but a bit hard, I actually broke the glass trying to cut it, 3 Courses for less that $30 each including drinks. Service was the best I have been to in a long time and overall experience was Excellent, even brought some candy to take home.

Thanks Misty's for a great night, I will be back again.
