We took the grandchildren there last holidays and it was marvellous. A great place to take Melbourne visitors for something you know will be worth the drive. What to have is the problem.

This was beautiful place to enjoy lunch and afternoon tea. the atmosphere was a delight to see all the tea pots and open fire place. The service was impeccable and my girls really enjoyed the tea party we were served. The food was of good quality but fairly average for its high price

This is a very fun place to eat especially if you are an Agatha Christie fan,as everything from menu to furnishings depicts a scene right out of one of Miss Marple's adventures. The meals are of a generous serving size and you may actually need to share one of the desserts as they are served in a big glass bowl! Everyone in the group I was with was very happy with their choice of meal and the prices of the meals was very reasonable. Unfortunately, on my second visit to Miss Marple's Tea Room with a small group of friends, we only ordered a drink each and the waitress seemed a bit put out that we were not eating anything. Some said they wouldn't come back again, but I would.

You do not come here for the food! You come here for the experience of Miss Marple! The food is really bad and in giant proportions. It don't know whether people aren't finishing their meals because they are so big or just so nasty. Be prepared to wait for hours for a seat during peak tourist times of the year and don't expect your table cloth to be changed from the last person who sat there and messed it up.. A must visit place in my account just to see all the Miss Marple crap chucked around the place and just so you can tell your you've been and seen!!!

I enjoy going there for a cup of tea with their homemade scones served with jam and whip cream. It is a yum yum. friendly service and affordable price. I love their Yorkshire Gold tea.
