As a customer of many years at Lamonts I have been happy with their products and routinely buy there every week or so. Last Saturday I bought amongst other things, a chicken kiev for my son in law to try. Half way through he encountered a piece of plastic around the garlic butter. I know these things can happen but the attitude of the boss man there was disappointing. My daughter went back yesterday and explained what had happened. He said yeah well these things happen and that was it. No iinterest, no apology, nothing.
I have known him to be like this but these days most businesses can't afford such an arrogant attitude.

I have always found Lamont's ridiculously expensive, but their quality has always been quite good. Their service has always been quite arrogant but as a regular cusotmer spending atleat $100 per week I expect a little more. I recently tried one of their chicken kievs and unfortunately there was a piece of cling wrap approx the size of mobile phone inside which i dicovered when eating. This can happen, but there dismissive response was appalling. 'thanks for letting us know'. I won't be back or my family.

A visit to Hampton St isn't complete on a Saturday without a Lamonts sausage from the barby. Has a huge variety and my favourite being the Honey Lamb and Rosemary. They are so yummy. The meat is of top quality, staff friendly and the ham is out of this world. Great shop!!!

We recently moved to Hampton and this butcher is the absolute best. The sausages are so good I buy them weekly and never miss the sausage sizzle they have at the weekend.

I have been going to lamonts for about five years now and am happy to travel to them as they have the best quality meat. there ham has won ham of the year at the royal show for a few years and apart from that they have the best sausages so yummy!
