Bread street is an Amazing employment experience for me, Dave supports people like me with disabilities which I think is fantastic, they sell best quality breads and pastries, and they donate leftover bread to charity instead of throwing it all out also the staff are always very friendly

We discovered this family owned professionally run clean bakery few months ago. Since then enjoying the high tin loaf every Sunday morning, in Sri Lankan style. Coconut sambol+ Dhal curry. Reminds to back home wood oven bread. Exactly the same taste same finish.
Very kind and attentive staff. Now my 11year old boy goes to pick bread and something savoury for him every Sunday morning.

Bread Street is a local Icon. It is not just a bakery it is..... in a class of it's own. What this business has done for the community is so beneficial, so generous, so worthy it makes one want to pop the whole thing on the photocopier glass and press copy, infinitely.
I am proud to be an Australian whenever I share this bread with friends. So is every other family in the district.
My pick: Bread Street High Tin loaf.

Consistently great product that makes it very difficult to enjoy bread from anywhere else. Staff always helpful and friendly. Owner hands on and community minded - his business has my full support.

Firstly, I have to mention the staff are so friendly and attentive.
I always come here to buy a nice rustic loaf, partically when I have people coming over. My partner really enjoys the danishes and donuts here too.

Superb breads; love the Sourdough and Maxi Loaf; they are superb. Service is always efficient, their system of serving customers in order works really well and it is great that Bread Street supports local groups; schools - and has such a positive impact on the community. Most of all though - fabulous bread!

Great to hear that their sourdough is nice - some places can't do a very good sourdough I've found!

Big thanks to David who supplied us with a big batch of coffee scrolls, mini-muffins, cheesy bacon buns and croissants for our corporate bake sale (raising funds for medical facilities for children in S-E Asia). We barely had to ask and David did the rest, far exceeding our original hopes.

They do a great variety of breads, and their croissants and fruit twists are very yummy. The shop is often jammed with customers, but service is orderly due to their queuing cards. Definitely drop in if you're in the neighbourhood.

Great bread, lovely staff, very community spirited business. I like the pane di casa, the children buy finger buns, and for special occasions my son can have a bagel dog (hot dog wrapped in bagel dough).

At least once a week they burn the breads....
The Pani De Casa loaf is fantastic but I reckon its got smaller in size recently.
