I wonder if this place has changed hands. About 2 years ago visited Aqua Spa Retreat for a flower infused facial and found it to be a very professional and relaxing environment. A few months ago I went again and it was completely different. Staff seemed overwhelmed and disinterested and '45 min' facial only went for about half an hour. Won't be returning.

I bought a 2 hour pamper deal from deals.com and it was the worst money i've ever spent. The girl that did my massage had no idea what she was doing and "full body" (what I paid for) wasn't what I got at all!
The facial... My skin felt like sandpaper after and it was not customised for my skin at all, plus! they got it all over my lash extensions and so they've been falling out. Who gets gunk on someone's lashes?? Then wipes it away with the force of a mack truck practically ripped them off. NDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I rang to complain and emailed but they never got back to me

What a horrible experience!!!!!!
I had been to aqua spa retreat essendon about a year ago or so and received a massage that was quite good. After seeing a deal on cudo for aqua spa retreat I thought it would be great to purchase. On the voucher it had said you could choose from 4 different style of massages...deep tissue being one of them. I had gone with my sister (who also bought a voucher) to redeem our one hour massage and were told they only do relaxation. This was dissapointing and as I pointed it out to the lady she said I could speak to the manager who was at the desk at the front of the store...By this time I had nothing on apart from undies and a towell and was made to walk out the front to express myself to the manager...very unprofessional!! She was not sympathetic at all and said I got the massage at a good price and a relaxtion massage was all we were getting. 
The massages were horrible!!! There was no sequence to the massage (they mainly massaged my right side of my back while the other side got hardly any attention and my left calf got massaged while my right was forgotten about)the massage tickled and in some areas they dug their thumbs into us which was quite uncomfortable. 
The next day we both woke up with a bad neck and back pain, which we then had to go pay more money to get it fixed with a remedial massage. 
Not relaxing at all and we came out much worse then what we went in with. 
Highly NOT RECCOMENDED!!!!!

I had a discount voucher which I used. I had to share a room with another person which is ok but not when the 2 therapist keep whispering to each other. The therapist I had was lovely and did a good job. I found some staff to be professional and others not so much. I don't think I would go there again. Im happy I didn't pay full price, the saying 'you get what you pay for' really applies here

Spa entrance overgrown and littered with rubbish. Staff turned up 15 min late to open up and had difficulty opening front door. Inside looking tired and dirty. Had Groupon for 90 min pamper package. No client details taken. Shown into treatment room which had towels with obvious makeup stains, oil marks and dirty. Refused to have treatment and got credit back on Groupon. First time ever commented on services.

First visit was a present from my partner & i had one of my best spa experiences. The therapist was lovely, thorough & very experienced. I was able to trust her & have been back numerous times where I have tried many services. The facials and massages are awesome & some of my favorite treatments. The sauna is also great & a good way to start a treatment.

The massage was ok but the attendant left my back exposed too long and i got cold. The epicure facial was awesome and the staff friendly. I would go backa nd would recommend but i still had higher expectations. Hopefully they will be met in the future.

Wow, so impressed with this place - I booked purely from the reviews on WOMOW and it was worth it. I had a number of treatments, all were fantastic and have prebooked a large number of appointments to make sure I get in!! Eyebrows have never looked better!!!!!!!

Overall, I had an enjoyable time at Aqua Spa Retreat, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Nice for a speacial occassion

Went to spa the other day. Didnt look much from outside but pleasantly surprised inside.Lovely and relaxing and warm. Hate being cold when you are undressed. people very pleasant. Will visit again. Great atmosphere
