About Town Mobile Mechanics owned by Rob has restored by faith in this service ...well as far as Rob is concerned; can't imagine using anyone else now. Rob is a professional, courteous, respectful, organised and transparent service provider. He arrived within the alloted time range. He gave an informative overview of the work done and the condition of the vehicle. He was transparent and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommendeed.

I needed a new car battery supplied and installed so I called the racv for a quote they quoted me a $210.00 joining fee and $169.00 charge for the battery with a total cost being $379.00 in total for a new battery, I felt is was a bit too much, so I googled around the net for another business that offer a mobile car battery replacement service and come across about town mobile mechanics Melbourne, I sent them a email for a quote and got an email back in less than 5 Min's, they offered me a new car battery with a 2 year warranty fitted within the hour at my home for only $199.00 inc gst and the battery and even took my old battery away free, I was very happy with the price and top quality service and honesty of the mechanic that come out as he saved me $180.00 it's a great service and very affordable, especially in the hard times. I would use this business again for other repairs!

I found Mobile Mechanics through WOMOW and thought I'd give them a go. I asked for a quote for a minor service on-line and the reply came back later that day for the service only. I then asked for some more information on the likely cost of parts and, again, had a reply the same day as I requested the information.

I then called and was offered a 2 hour time slot for the work for 2 business days later. This was then confirmed later that day with an email that also requested vehicle information.

So far, so good.

On the day, the mechanic arrived half an hour into the agreed time slot. He asked me to stay with him while he fixed a couple of minor special requests that were outside of the standard service. I think this was just to show me that he knew what he was doing and he did. I then left him to it and about 90 minutes the job was done. He gave me some advice about tyres etc and then asked me to test drive the car.

I can honestly say that I have never had a service where the work could CLEARLY be heard and felt in the way the car drove.

I was not charged for the minor adjustments that I had witnessed, only the servicing.

As far as I am concerned I would use them again without hesitation and recommend them.
